Arriving in the morning

The school gates are opened at 8.30am where children and parents may enter the school premises.

Children go straight to their classroom door and go inside their classroom where their teacher will be.  We kindly ask parents to stay outside the school building.  There are always staff outside on duty who parents can speak to if they wish to.  The school gate will close at 8.40am and any children who are late must enter the school through the main entrance so they can be signed in at the school office. (For more information on how we monitor attendance and lateness, see our Attendance page under Parent Information).

Collecting at the end of the school day

The school gate will open for parents from 3.05pm where they can then enter the playground and wait for their children.

We ask parents to ensure that any younger children are carefully supervised and not to distract their children through the classroom windows during this time. We kindly request that children do not play on the school equipment as they are not insured to do so.  We would encourage all parents to communicate the collection arrangements to their child at the beginning of each day to reduce unnecessary confusion or anxiety. We appreciate that circumstances may change during the school day or there may be reasons that a parent may be late collecting. If this is the case, please contact the office as soon as possible - preferably by lunchtime - so that children can be informed as soon as possible.
